My name is Carla
Our small independent family business grew from my holistic practice for women's health & wellbeing called ReCalm Holistic Therapies. I started to understand how better for you, it is to use 100% natural products, & I began to study and make wellbeing products to enhance your wellbeing, that are 100% pure & natural, with essential oils, for my clients, which evolved into a Retail Wellbeing Shop.
I adore making aromatherapy relaxation products, scent is a very powerful sense, and nothing nicer than to work with essential oils and natural organic ingredients all day long, it fills my soul with a deep sense of calm, and I take great pride in producing I feel, some of the Finest Aromatherapy Candles & Wellbeing products out there, that are all non-toxic, so good for you & kind to our planet.
I regularly attend local artisan fairs, and nothing more satisfying, than seeing first-hand, what people think of our products, and for them to try and smell the range. Our Services
CANDLE CARE
When using your candle for the first time (and each time after that) we recommend that you burn your essential oil aromatherapy candle for a minimum of 2hrs or at least long enough for the top layer of wax to melt fully to the edge of the jar, this prevents tunnelling and will make the candle last longer.
Never burn for less tahas this can cause tunnelling, as there is not enough time for the wax pool to melt to the edge of the container. Always trim the wick to 5mm before lighting the candle. This removes the carbon from the end of the wick.
We recommend extinguishing the candle by dipping the flame in the melt pool. This extinguishes the flame without causing any smoke and it also coats the wick in melted wax, which helps secure a powerful flame next time you light the candle. You can use the end of a match to delicately pick out any broken parts of the wick once the flame is extinguished, so it is clean for your next use.
Always ensure the wick is upright once extinguished. If the wick leans to one side, the melt pool will become uneven.
Our slow-burning pure essential oil candle can be enjoyed even longer if the wick is regularly trimmed to 5mm, re-centered, any black soot pinched off the tip and the glass vessel is covered.
Light your aromatherapy candle for between 2-4hrs at a time, remembering to rotate regularly to ensure directional air does not cause an uneven burn.
As you enjoy the delicate scent of this pure essential oil therapeutic candle, give thanks for all those who you share a connection with and then relax and practice the Mauli art of self-nurturing, stillness and letting go, so your true light has a chance to shine.
After the candle imparts its final flicker, let it cool, then handwash the glass vessel and enjoy reusing for whatever inspires.
CARING FOR YOUR BEESWAX BLEND CANDLE
Beeswax candles burn differently to all other wax candles. Beeswax has a different composition depending on the flowers the bees have pollinated. This means every candle will burn differently and will have quirks and imperfections such as creating a frosting effect on the jar. The wax may crack in between burns and it may burn unevenly, this is part of the charm of beeswax candles and there is nothing quite like the glorious sweet honey aroma they bring to your home.
REUSE YOUR CANDLE CONTAINER
We have carefully selected the containers for our candles to allow them to be repurposed.
All of our containers are dishwasher safe - please follow these five (5) easy steps:

Set your oven on to 80 Degrees Centigrade or its lowest possible setting

Place your spent candle on a baking tray and place it in the oven for no more than 10 to 15mins.

Once the remaining wax has melted, gently remove the baking tray from the oven and place on a level surface.

Using an oven glove, remove any wax with a paper towel and discard in the waste bin.

Once all excess wax has been removed, clean by hand with a cloth and hot soapy water or pop it in your dishwasher.
WARNING NOTICE
To prevent fire and serious injury: burn the candle within sight. Keep away from drafts and vibrations.
Keep out of reach of children and pets. Never burn the candle on or near anything that can catch fire.
BURNING INSTRUCTIONS
Trim wick to 5mm before lighting. Keep the candle free from foreign materials including matches and wick trimmings. Only burn the candle on a level, fire resistant surface. Do not burn the candle for more than four (4) hours at a time. Failure to follow instructions could result in a fire hazard or serious injury.
